About mhespenh.netOr more specifically: About Michael HespenheideAbstract Bio: I'm a twenty-something-year-young Computer Engineering student who is obsessively interested in all things electronics. I was born and raised in central Virginia, just a few miles from Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. I'm one of those lucky few blessed with the knowledge of exactly what I want to do with my life. I'm a brother in the Epsilon Chi Chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity at Virginia Tech, where I served Vice-President, and later President. I'm also a member of the US Marine Corps Reserve, as a Heavy Equipment Operator (I drive big bulldozers and the like)- an interesting job. In my spare time I come up with, and build, all manner of random projects involving coding, electronics, microcontrollers (I really like the PIC and Atmels), and other passive and active components- this site is intended to be place for me to share that work with the world. I'm a huge fan of Instructables.com (user: mhespenh) and Make, places where I often find inspiration for future projects.
